Port X has started 2020 executing step one of our visionary plan—Long Beach expansion—and is getting ready for exhibiting at the upcoming TPM conference.
In November, our LA team moved into a new office space and warehouse facility, which is now running at full capacity. Closer to the Port of Long Beach, the new facility has created many advantages for Port X in 2020. We can pick up containers, have them trans-loaded, and on the road immediately. Our large yard space allows us to be nimble, with the ability to get drayage trucks in quickly and have over the road trucks loaded immediately. The yard is fully fenced and the facility has a comprehensive video surveillance system.
LA/Long Beach Transload Example
- Confirm receipt of delivery order
- Track vessel and terminal availability daily
- Assist with any holds or port fees
- Appoint the container pick up
- Expedite he container to our facility
- Trans-load cargo and take photos of the entire process
- Seal the trailer and expedited cargo to destination
A great example of a weekly move that we handle is picking up a container via the APL fast boat program on Wednesday, preforming a same day trans-load, and delivering to western Illinois by Friday. That is drayage, transload, and trucking 2,000 miles in just 2 days.
While the new facility excites us, the Port X team and our core values are what continue to drive us. They deliver a first-class customer experience every single day with proactive communication and a sense of urgency to treat every day like Day 1. Jackie, aka Lcubed, our Long Beach Logistics Leader, and the entire team provide unmatched visibility for our customers.
Test us and we will show you the best customer experience in the business!
