The United States inbound TEUs are collectively down this week.
The LA port volumes are once again back on the rise and the Seattle import volume is still heating up. Miami and Savannah also are showing an increase for this coming week.
NJ/NY and Norfolk port volumes are finally starting to flatline this week, giving hope of catching up with chassis and yard storage space shortages. Both of these challenges are still very pressing issues in both markets.
Chicago is still experiencing a lot of chassis shortage difficulties and even yard space shortages are starting to loom over all of Chicago rails, causing empty return issues.
