I returned last night from a rainy week in Long Beach and was asked by some clients if its better? Well, Kind of. We are now finding it much easier to get cargo out, on the road, and moving. The empty situation is still not good. Many terminals are still requiring dual transactions and appointments to terminate empties. This coupled with the lack of imports this week due to Chinese New Year makes things difficult. Yard storage, yard space, and potential per diem are still issues that persist. At least the cargo is moving! Great time working on our office expansion, meeting with clients, fabulous dinner with our LA team, and collaboration at the TPM.#Trucking #Logistics #Ports
